SimFlex Grilles & Closures
SimFlex roller shutters, glazed rolling doors and decorative rolling grilles, developed for retail and commercial applications. Primarily for shopping centres and other public enclosed areas wherever people and spaces need to be divided.
The products can be offered with counterbalanced spring & lock operation, or for those of a wider span or out of reach height they offer motorised operation with emergency manual over-rides. The SimFlex range includes high strength steel roller shutters up to 7m high, glazed models, using thick Lexan polycarbonate sheets, plastic linked grilles for bar tops, steel or aluminium tube and link brickbond grilles and perforated steel roller shutters.
SimFlex's range provides flexible solutions to storefront security and design.
With twenty different roller shutter models from solid, perforated, open grille or glazed, the SimFlex range is one of the most comprehensive for securing storefront entrances or anywhere you have a need to close off an area securely.

Curtain Construction & Weight
44mm x 9mm twin walled solid extruded aluminium lath. Weight 8kg m2.
Bottom Bar & Guides
The bottom bar is 50mm x 8mm extruded aluminium with reinforcing angle or bottom rubber.
Guides are 60mm x 22mm Extruded Aluminium construction including brush strips.
Shutter Hoods
Die cast aluminium end plates with a preformed 2-piece aluminium hood. Shutter hood ranges from 165mm to 250mm, subject to size of the shutter.
SG55 Solid Aluminium Roller Shutter

55mm x 13.5mm twin walled solid extruded aluminium lath. Weight 8.44kg m2.
Bottom Bar & Guides
The bottom bar is 60mm x 8mm twin walled extruded aluminium with bottom rubber.
Guides for a 205mm box are 66mm x 27mm Extruded Aluminium construction including brush strips. Guides for 250mm, 300mm & 360mm box are 75mm x 27mm Extruded Aluminium construction including brush strips.
Shutter Hoods
Die cast aluminium end plates with a preformed 2-piece aluminium hood. Shutter hood ranges from 205mm to 250mm for a manual shutter and 205mm to 360mm for a motorised shutter, subject to size of the shutter.
SG75 Punched Steel Rolling Grille
Curtain Construction & Weight
75mm x 17mm interlocking 20 gauge convex steel lath with either 47mm x 76mm or 25mm x 150mm punched holes. Weight 11kg m2.
Bottom Bar & Guides
The bottom bar consists of a mild steel 75mm x 51mm ‘T’ Bar or 31 x 68mm ‘L’ section. Guides are 65mm x 32mm x 3mm prefixed to 40mm x 40mm x 3mm unistrut for ease of installation (subject to shutter size)
Shutter Hoods
Galvanised steel end plates with locating lugs for strength and safety with preformed 2-piece aluminium hood. Shutter hood ranges from 250mm to 360mm, subject to size of the shutter.
