Webheath Estate, London

Webheath Estate, London

Bailey Garner, in conjunction with the London Borough of Camden, specified a semi-intensive green roof to be installed at Web Heath Estate. The planting scheme includes a mixture of brown roof elements along with specific design features created using various plug plants to produce a range of designs.

The roof areas are built up using differing heights/blends of substrate ensuring that each plant type was installed in the most suitable growing medium. The Waterproofing was installed by Lakehouse Contracts and is a traditional warm roof construction utilising Langley’s Graviflex root resistant cap sheet.

The Green Roof elements were designed by the landscape contractor “Elite Landscapes” and was built up using drainage board with a filter fleece and engineered substrate to suit.
