To meet the ongoing trend for industrial-looking spaces, UK manufacturer QIC has expanded its product range with metal mesh ceiling tiles.
QIC Mesh Ceilings is a range of 600mm x 600mm tiles, 1200mm x 600mm planks plus bespoke sizes and helps architects, interior designers and installers create contemporary design statements in new-build and refurbishment projects
Now available, from stock in five standard mesh patterns, QIC Mesh is compatible with standard 24mm or 15mm grid systems, making it quick and easy for contractors to install, and minimising time on site.
In addition, other edge designs – Board, Tegular and Raft systems – give specifiers the option of exposing, highlighting or concealing the grid for a more monolithic aesthetic.
QIC Mesh lay-in tiles are also available in a range of colours including traditional metallic finishes such as aluminium, and black from stock, to deliver a contemporary statement ceiling solution.
As lightweight as 3.15kg/m², QIC Mesh tiles are easily lifted by hand and allow easy access to the ceiling void above, minimising maintenance and risk.
QIC sales and marketing director Neil Miller said: “This metal mesh ceilings product addition to our product portfolio is in response to overwhelming customer and market demand and we are delighted to respond. Other Metal ceiling systems will be announced shortly.”
